January 2010 – We wanted to take a minute and thank you for transforming our tired looking inefficient home into a more modern and efficient residence. Your sales department, installation crew as well as your project are amazing.Our initial introduction to your company was non-pressuring and very pleasant. We were educated on the product, installation and efficiency of your windows without feeling pressured to make instant decision, Your product did that for us. We were quite impressed with the construction of your windows, its lifetime warranty, as well as its energy reducing abilities. We have already noticed a reduction in our heating bills and can only anticipate a lower electric bill for air-conditioning as the summer approaches. Before the installation of your windows, our home was drafty and lacked the ability to have cross breezes. Our living room and kitchen bays did not have widows that opened which didn't allow ventilation in those rooms. We recently had windows installed by Illinois Energy. What we thought might be a difficult and stressful endeavor turned out to be easy and worry-free. Our sales agent, James Shropshire, was thorough in his explanation of the product and helpful with many questions we had. He visited our home at our convenience and was able to facilitate our purchase from our beginning inquiries to our financing. The price was also better than reasonable based on the comparisons we did. The impressive warranty, once compared with the others out there, make the decision even easier. We have lived in our present house for over 7 years. When we did the "walk through" the one window they opened was the ONLY window that worked in the whole house. We had broken windows that were drafty and dangerous, but once we had toddlers I feared for their safety when the windows were propped open, since the springs had been broken and they would slam shut. As my children got older and stronger they wanted to take out the wood that was holding the windows open which was potentially very dangerous. The window in my younger son's room, the nursery, actually had mold, The drafts were so bad that you would have to keep the curtains closed most of the year if it was windy out side. My husband and I have decided we NEEDED new windows! Being in a neighborhood built in the 70's, replacement window companies were targeting our neighborhood in recent years. My husband and I made and appointment with one of these companies. They started to call every week after our appointment and finally the salesman actually got rude because we didn't sign a contract right away. Then one day a young man came to our door and gave us a folder filled with information about their windows at Illinois Energy. A sale representative called and I talked to him and I requested that her give me until the following year when we would be ready money-wise. He called a the beginning of the year and we set up another appointment. We were impressed right away, first with the salesman, and then with the quality of the windows he was selling. One of the selling points was that our windows would be custom fit and energy efficient. (We have seen widows go up around the neighborhood and trucks coming to "refit" the windows because they weren't custom fit.) Once we decided on the types of windows, not only did the sale sale representative measure the windows, but the job foreman came out and measured them again. Illinois Energy scheduled around our vacation plans and as soon as we returned, the windows were set up to install. The workers were all friendly and always busy Of course we had a few glitches in the instillation, but had nothing to do the actual windows. The workers forgot to sweep up on the first day and my husband pulled into the garage and noticed a bunch of screws laying around. There was no damage done. My 4 year old was intrigued with what they were doing and wanted to be involved with the tools. They were very patient and explained to him what they were doing. The head workman would let me know what time they would be there the next day and they were always on time. The last day they were here he didn't show up until noon which was kind of frustrating because there were usually so prompt. It turned out to be a miscommunication -- but it was the last day and I was anxious for my window installation to be completed. They looked so nice. All and all we had a great experience and we love our new windows! My children and cats love the new day windows, as do I since it makes our room look larger and brighter. They are totally draft proof! We are so happy with our new windows we are getting two more basement windows replaced and our front door, We are happy customers.

We could not be more pleased with the way the purchase and installation of our new front door and all of our windows turned out. From start to finish the whole project went smoothly with little or no difficulties. It was obviously a bid decision to replace our front door and every window in our house. We initially decided to only replace the door since that was the most important item. Our experience with getting the new door installed went so well that we decided to go ahead and replace the windows right away as well. Since getting the new doors and windows installed we have received several compliments. One person who does a lot of repair work in several of the newer Aurora and Naperville subdivisions told us that she thought our door was the most beautiful door she had ever seen We have also received similar compliments from friends and family. We are also glad we replaced the windows just before winter so we could save on heating costs. Our most expensive monthly gas bill this winter was about $100 less than our most expensive monthly gas bill last winter. The Illinois Energy representative, James Shropshire, was very helpful throughout the process. He showed us many different options for both the door and windows, clearly explained the pluses and minuses of each option, and continued to remain to contact with us during the installation process after we had made our decisions. He even followed up with us after everything was completed to make sure everything went as planned. It has now been a few months since the project was completed and we have not experienced any problems. It is good to know however, that even if we did have a problem with any of the installed windows or doors, that we could call Illinois Energy and they would come over right away to fix the problem. The lifetime guarantee of the windows and 20 year guarantee of the door really provides great peace of mind.

I wanted to tell you how pleased we are with the work that was performed. Amy & I have had nothing but positive things to say about the project. As you already know, we originally chose Illinois Energy because of your sales staff. James really set himself apart from your competition by not just selling the quality of your product, but by creating a connection with us personally. Clearly making a sale was important, but he took time to listen to us and our needs and although he didn't walk out of our house with an immediate sale, his flexibility and support helped us to arrive at the right decision. Ultimately that decision was Illinois Energy. In addition to the nice work by your sales team, the installation crew was top notch. From the moment Jim arrived, we were impressed. He was professional, personable, and efficient. The work team did a great job of keeping our house clean. Without the need for us to ask, Jim & his team were consistent in removing their shoes when working in the house (even though there were a lot of trips in and out due to the nature of our project). The respect for our house was appreciated. In addition, the installation team was probably one of the most efficient & hard working that I have seen. From the moment they arrived to the moment they left, they were working. They did not take breaks & barely stopped for lunch! They were flexible with the village inspector and worked around his schedule as well. And although they were busy working while they were here, Jim was very friendly and was more than happy to answer any questions Amy or I had about the work that was being performed. As for the windows themselves, we think they look beautiful (both inside & out) and what a difference they made right away. The sound dampening is fantastic, but even better was the difference it made in keeping our heat in the house! We are very satisfied... which brings me to the second topic. And as a quick side note... although I didn't mention it above, I couldn't have better things to say about your part in this process as well. Rarely do you find the owner of a company who is willing to get as involved in customer satisfaction as you have been. "I'd like you to know how pleased we are with the job your company did replacing our windows. Our old single-pane, double-hung windows were rotten and rickety. The old aluminum storm and screen sash system didn't have weep holes to let the rain water drain out the sills. As a result, the sills became, rotten and Some of the windows actually sagged out-of-square. The installers did a great job. They fixed or replaced the rotten sills and squared-up the framing with sound carpentry practices before-installing the replacement windows. As an architect, I appreciate the steps they took to keep the weather out forever. This time, I know the windows will last. The Window units themselves are great and make each room more comfortable. "Although our house isn't all that old, we were in desperate need of new windows. On some of them we would notice wind blowing through them or condensation (ice/moisture) would gather. Because of this we also determined that we were probably over spending on heating and cooling our house. We decided to go forward with installing all new windows, doors and outside shutters on our two-story home. They were installed over one weekend with little disruption to us. It was a very smooth process. Over the next couple of weeks our doors and shutters were also installed. Since then we have been very pleased not only with the look of the windows, doors and shutters, but also with how we have been able to adjust our heating. Last winter, om thermostat was usually set to around 73 or 74 degrees. This winter we have been able to lower it anywhere from 3 to 5 degrees depending on the weather. Our house just feels tighter. We would happily recommend Illinois Energy to anyone interested in installing new windows. We were very pleased with the level of service from the sales representative to the installers to the owner who called us personally. He thanked us for choosing Illinois Energy and told us his company would do the job until we were 100% satisfied. They are a great company with which to work."

"Let me just say right off the bat that we are thrilled with the work that your company had done on our home in Cary Illinois. Our house actually has curb appeal now! We chose Illinois Energy Windows & Siding Inc. in the first place because the salesman (Dave Sullivan) who came to our home was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Seeing that we have two kids going off to college in the near future we had to stick to a budget. In no way did Dave try to talk us into something that was out of our budget rage. He answered all of our questions to our satisfaction. The next day when we realized that we had a few more questions we called the company and the company was quick to respond - again to our complete satisfaction! After a quick check with the Better Business Bureau we decided that Illinois Energy Windows & Siding Inc. in all probability knew what they were doing. We knew that this was the company we wanted to do business with. Between the estimator and the workers, they did a great job. They were very polite respectful, attentive to detail and very understanding of our two rambunctious dogs as far as keeping the gates closed. At the end of each day the yard was cleaned up and any ladders or material were placed where they did not interfere with our comings and goings. "I just wanted to Iet you Know what a difference getting these new windows has made in our home. Before getting Illinois Energy windows, I was afraid to let my newborn son sleep in his room. With his old windows, there woulld be mold in the Springtime and ice in the Winter. His room was constantly drafty, and the screens were so loose that I was afraid if someone leaned on them, they would pop out. When Illinois Energy presented us with a great offer for their windows, we decided to change our windows. From the first moment, we have had courteous and knowledgeable staff that was able to answer all of our questions. All of our experience with Illinois Energy Windows & Siding has been great! The staff has been fantastic, and efficient. Once the windows arrived, they were installed immediately and professionally {we would know because my husband is a carpenter). We just wanted to take a minute to thank you again for the great job the whole Illinois Energy Team did on our windows. Brian – thanks for the great ideas for the casement and awning windows that made the windows look and work better. Tom and the installation crew were very professional, extremely neat and did a great job fnishing all the details on the windows. A lot of neighbors have stopped by to tell us how great the windows look, and we are really impressed how much better our home’s curb appeal is now. It’s great to smile every time we come home and look up at the new windows. What we did not expect is how much better our view looking out is! The new window that was installed in the office has greatly helped let in more light to a room that needed some brightening. Not to mention, we no longer have drafty windows, they are all tightly sealed. We’re definitely looking forward to lower energy bills and spending less on A/C and heat. Dear Illinois Energy,
"We wanted to take a minute and write a letter saying how happy we have been with the work that Illinois Energy did on our windows and door. We had major problems with our existing windows with leaks and condensation between the panes. When the wind would blow, we could see our curtains move. It was both embarrassing and costly with high energy bills. Illinois Energy came out and assessed our windows and gave us several options as to how to go about replacing them. We were unable to do all of them at once, but Illinois helped us come up with a plan that was both affordable and addressed our biggest concerns first. They also helped us choose a new front door to replace our current one which was letting in a lot of cold air also. When the workmen arrived, they did a wonderful job removing and replacing the windows. They took great care when cutting the old windows out and putting the new ones in. They replaced 8 windows and the front door in a single day. They were very organized. They took the time to show me everything they were doing and made sure that if I had any questions or concerns they were answered right away. When the project was complete, they walked me around and had me look for any problems. They showed me how the windows worked. They demonstrated how to clean them. That was one of the best features we have in these windows, i.e. the ability to clean both panes from the inside. We no longer need ladders in high winds at 30 feet off the ground. That is not to say the job went completely perfect. When the front door was installed, it was discovered that Illinois Energy did not order the new door knobs. They had to put the old one on temporarily. However, they called it in right away and called us as soon as it arrived in their shop. They scheduled the service technician to install it when it was most convenient to our schedule. Not only did he replace the old door knob, but he replaced the hinges to match the finish of the door knob. It is little things like this that made the experience of working with Illinois Energy satisfying. We appreciate Illinois Energy's customer service. The day after we signed the contract with Illinois Energy, the owner called us to thank us for our business and let us know that we could contact him at any time if we had any questions or concerned. When we did call him after that, he was always available to talk with us and address our concerns. All other employees (Le. salesman, foreman, secretary, carpenters) were always courteous. They worked around our schedule and were very understanding when we had to reschedule a meeting. I've worked with a lot of contractors on my job. They typically are very concerned about getting the work done quickly so they can get paid and are not concerned about doing a good job. Illinois Energy was not like that. Their number one concern was our happiness. They did not expect payment until the job was done to our satisfaction."
